Especially in the eastern part but in the winter because of swelling, it may be difficult in the northern part. Aruba Arashi Beach White powder sand with calm waters for swimming or snorkeling. No facilities but has beach huts that offer shade. Aruba Malmok Beach A very popular snorkeling spot with shallow water, tiny bays that are lined with white sand and plenty of fish. No nearby facilities. Aruba Hadikurari (Fisherman's Huts) Hadicurari is the place of the annual Hi-Winds Pro Am Windsurfing Competion. White powder sand and very shallow water. Good facilities, including showers, lifeguards and shaded cabanas. Tobago Canoe Bay The Canoe Bay is shallow, calm and well sheltered. It was called Canoe Bay by English mariners.The predominance of artifacts in the area denotes the existence of a large settlement of Amerindians there many years ago. Tobago Stonehaven Beach Golden sands lead to gorgeous blue waters that are great for swimming and riding the surf. The endangered giant Leatherback turtle comes ashore between March and June to lay their eggs which will hatch around three months later.
